The Pupy™ Warranty Policy

At The Pupy™, we design premium pet travel products for durability, comfort, and everyday use. If a product develops a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship during its applicable warranty period under normal use, we will provide a remedy as described below. This Limited Warranty explains what is covered, what is not, and how to make a claim.

Warranty Coverage

• CozyRider™ 2.0 — 5-Year Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
• Single Rider™ — 1-Year Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
• Luxe Dog Bed — 1-Year Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
• Portable Dog Stairs — Not covered under our standard Limited Warranty. If your product arrives damaged, defective, or missing parts, please contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. This Limited Warranty applies only to products purchased directly from The Pupy™ or an authorized The Pupy™ retailer, and only to the original purchaser. It is non-transferable.

Customer Responsibilities

• Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims (order number or receipt).
• Customers must notify The Pupy™ within thirty (30) days after discovering the alleged defect. Failure to do so may result in denial of the warranty claim.
• Customers must provide clear photos or videos showing the reported issue upon request.
• In most cases, claims are resolved using photo or video documentation, and you will not be asked to return the product. If a physical return is specifically requested by The Pupy™ to evaluate a claim, we will provide return instructions.
• Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with an approved warranty remedy, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Warranty Claim Review

Every warranty claim is reviewed individually, and all warranty determinations are made solely by The Pupy™. The Pupy™ reserves the right to deny any warranty claim if sufficient information cannot be provided to verify the reported defect. The Pupy™ also reserves the right to deny warranty service in cases involving suspected fraud, abuse of the warranty program, false claims, altered proof of purchase, or intentional damage to the product.

What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover:

• Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect product performance, including scratches, scuffs, loose threads, dents, fading, discoloration, or other minor cosmetic changes resulting from normal use.
• Normal wear and tear, including deterioration of waterproof or water-resistant coatings, compression or flattening of padding, fabric softening, wrinkles, stretching, thinning, or any natural aging of materials that occurs through regular use over time.
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper care, including neglect, improper installation, improper storage, improper cleaning, failure to follow care instructions, exceeding the intended weight capacity, commercial or rental use, unauthorized modifications, unauthorized repairs, or any use outside the product's intended purpose.
• Damage caused by pets, including chewing, clawing, scratching, digging, biting, pulling, or any similar activity.
• Damage from accidents, natural events, or the environment, including vehicle collisions, fire, flooding, excessive heat, freezing temperatures, prolonged exposure to sunlight, mold, mildew, chemicals, bleach, harsh detergents, natural disasters, earthquakes, storms, lightning, or other events beyond The Pupy™'s reasonable control.

Because every pet, vehicle, and usage environment is different, product lifespan naturally varies depending on frequency of use, pet size, pet behavior, maintenance, cleaning, storage, and vehicle conditions. Normal aging of materials is not a manufacturing defect.

Remedies

If a valid warranty claim is approved during the applicable warranty period, then at its sole discretion and to the extent permitted by applicable law, The Pupy™ may repair the product, replace the defective part or component, replace the product with a new or comparable refurbished item, provide store credit, provide a discount toward a future purchase, issue a partial refund where appropriate, or offer another reasonable remedy. The remedy selected by The Pupy™ shall be the customer's sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.

If the original product has been discontinued or is no longer reasonably available, The Pupy™ may provide a comparable replacement product, replacement component, store credit, a discount toward a future purchase, a partial refund based on the original purchase price and product usage, or another reasonable remedy. The Pupy™ is not obligated to manufacture, restock, or otherwise make available discontinued products for warranty purposes.

Any replacement product or replacement component provided under this Limited Warranty is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period, or thirty (30) days after delivery of the replacement, whichever is longer. A replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period.

If a product is determined not to qualify for warranty coverage, The Pupy™ may still, at its sole discretion and as a courtesy, offer a replacement component, store credit, or a discount toward a future purchase.

How to Obtain Warranty Service

To request warranty service, email our customer support team at support@thepupy.store. We may request your proof of purchase, photographs, videos, or other information needed to evaluate your claim. If we ask you to return the product, we will provide instructions, and the product should be packaged to provide adequate protection during shipping. In certain cases, The Pupy™ may instead request that the customer destroy or permanently disable the defective product rather than return it; proof of destruction may be required before a replacement or other remedy is issued.

Implied Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties — including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose — are limited in duration to the applicable warranty period stated above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of The Pupy™ arising from the sale or use of any product shall not exceed the original purchase price of that product. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Pupy™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of use, or property damage, arising from the use or misuse of the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
